This document outlines the full Terms and Conditions for attending Akashganga 2025. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to below terms:.

1. Event and Ticketing Information

Event Name: Akashganga 2025

Organizers:

Akashganga is jointly organised by Kashi Riders LLP and Ghat Travels.

Date: 5th November 2025

Venue:

Chet Singh Fort Ground, Shivala, Varanasi.

Event Hours:

The private lounge area opens at 2:00 PM for all ticket holders.

Security Check-in:

All guests must undergo a mandatory security and Aadhaar verification check-in at the lounge area. The check-in window for the boat ride closes strictly at 3:30 PM.

Ticket Validity:

Your ticket grants you access to the private lounge area and the boat ride only if you check in by the specified time. Tickets are non-transferable and are valid only for the Primary Guest Holder.

No-Show Policy:

Guests who fail to complete the security check-in by 3:30 PM will be considered a "no-show." They will not be permitted to board the boat, and no refunds or alternative accommodations will be provided.

2. Boat Ride Schedule and Disclaimers

Boarding Time:

Boarding will commence at approximately 4:30 PM from the designated ghat.

Ride Duration:

The boat ride is a scheduled 3 hours and 30 minutes to 4 hours.

External Functions:

Events organised by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department (such as fireworks, laser shows, etc.) are subject to change, delay, or cancellation. The Akashganga organising team will not be responsible for any modifications or cancellations directly undertaken by the Government of India or Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, as they are beyond our control.

Boarding and Deboarding Process :

Guests must walk - in queue and follow all the instructions given by organising team and security personnels when passing the ghat zone to board the boats smoothly.

Route and Cancellation:

In the case of government orders, VIP movement, unforeseen river conditions, or other reasons beyond our control, the boat ride may be canceled or re-routed. In such cases, no refund will be provided. The event will continue in the lounge area.

Seating arrangement policy:

Seating on the allotted boats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Specific seat requests or preferences cannot be accommodated. Guests are kindly requested to cooperate with fellow passengers and avoid any disputes regarding seating arrangements. In the event of any disagreement, the decision of the Akashganga crew shall be final and binding.

3. Guest Conduct and Safety Regulations

Mandatory Identification:

1. You must present a valid Aadhar Card/ Driving License / Passport card at the security check-in for verification.
2. You must wear the identification bagde/wristband throughout the event, to access the lounge area and the boat ride, to avoid denied entry.

Prohibited Items:

For the safety of all guests and property, the following items are strictly prohibited:

Alcohol or any kind of intoxicants.

  1. Illegal substances.
  2. Outside food and beverages.
  3. Weapons, sharp objects, or any items that could be used to cause harm.

Code of Conduct:

Guests are expected to maintain respectful behaviour and adhere to the instructions provided by the event staff and crew at all times. Akashganga 2025 reserves the right to deny entry or remove any guest from the venue or boat, without refund, in the event of misconduct. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  1. Engaging in abusive, disruptive, or unruly behaviour.
  2. Failing to comply with directions from the boat captain, security personnel, or event staff.
  3. Damaging, defacing, or attempting to harm any property.
  4. Using offensive language, shouting, or behaving inappropriately on the boat.

Littering:

  1. Guests are strictly prohibited from disposing of any garbage, waste, or objects into the Ganga River or within the venue premises. Any violation of this policy will result in an on-the-spot penalty of ₹10,000.
  2. Guests are also requested to maintain cleanliness in the washrooms and ensure proper flushing after use. Any damage to washroom facilities will attract a penalty of up to ₹10,000 or the actual cost of repair, whichever is higher.

Boarding and Deboarding:

Guests must follow the instructions of security personnel during the boarding and deboarding process. Any guest who attempts to create a disturbance or not follow the specified procedure will have their ticket immediately revoked, with no refund.

Zero-Tolerance Policy:

The boat captain and event security have the full authority to deboard any guest with immediate effect if their behaviour is deemed a threat to safety or a disruption to the event. No refunds will be provided in such a case.

4. Liability and Disclaimers

Third-Party Vendors:

Akashganga partners with independent third-party boat operators for the event. While we carefully select our partners, Akashganga does not own or operate the boats and therefore bears no responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or fatalities that may occur onboard. The respective boat operator and its crew are solely responsible for the safety, maintenance, and operation of the vessel.

Personal Property:

Akashganga shall not be held liable for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings during the event. Guests are strongly advised to keep their valuables secure at all times and avoid leaving them unattended.

Transportation:

Parking, pick-up, and drop-off services are not provided by Akashganga. Guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the venue and must ensure timely arrival as per the event schedule.

Promotional Offers and Representations:

Akashganga is bound only by the commitments, offers, and inclusions explicitly mentioned in its official brochures, website, or official communication channels. Any verbal assurances, promises, or promotional claims made by external partners, vendors, or third parties shall not be deemed valid unless confirmed in writing by Akashganga.

Force Majeure (Recommended Addition)

Akashganga shall not be held responsible for any delay, cancellation, or modification of the event arising due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, government regulations, or other unforeseen events.

Indemnity and Liability Waiver

By participating in the event, guests acknowledge and accept that Akashganga, its affiliates, employees, and partners shall not be held liable for any accidental damage, personal injury, loss of life, or other mishaps that may occur before, during, or after the event, whether on the boat, at the venue, or in transit.

Guests voluntarily assume all associated risks and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Akashganga, its organizers, staff, and associated entities from any claims, demands, or legal actions arising from such incidents.

5. Data privacy and Security

Akashganga values and respects the privacy of its guests. Any personal information collected during the ticketing or check-in process is used solely for identity verification, security, and operational purposes.

All data is stored securely and will not be shared, sold, or disclosed to any third party, except where required by law or for legitimate safety reasons. By participating in the event, guests consent to the lawful use of their data in accordance with this privacy clause.

Akashganga 2025: Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy outlines the rules regarding cancellations and refunds for tickets purchased for Akashganga.

1. Ticket Sales Are Final

All ticket purchases for Akashganga are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a ticket is purchased, no cancellations, exchanges, or refunds shall be permitted under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  1. Guest-initiated cancellation for any reason.
  2. Failure to attend the event (“no-show”).
  3. Late arrival beyond the 3:30 PM security check-in deadline.
  4. Personal scheduling conflicts, travel delays, or changes in plan.

Guests are advised to review all details carefully before confirming their purchase.

2. Event Cancellation by Organizers:

In the rare event that Akashganga is cancelled entirely by the organizers due to reasons within our control, all ticket holders will receive a 100% refund of the ticket price within 15 business days of the official cancellation notice.
Please note that refunds will be processed only to the original mode of payment used during ticket purchase.

3. Force Majeure

No refund or compensation shall be provided in case of event disruption, delay, or cancellation resulting from force majeure events, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, floods, pandemics, strikes, or government-imposed restrictions.

4. Ticket Transfer and Resale Policy

Tickets are issued in the name of the purchaser and are non-transferable and non-resellable. Entry will be denied to any guest attempting to use a resold, duplicated, or tampered ticket. Akashganga reserves the right to verify guest identity before granting access.

5. Organizer’s Rights

Akashganga reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to the event format, schedule, or inclusions to ensure guest safety and event continuity. Such changes shall not constitute grounds for a refund or claim.

6. Acknowledgment

By purchasing a ticket, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Cancellation and Refund Policy.
