Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully. They govern your booking and attendance at Akashganga.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a ticket — whether through online or offline mode — or by booking, holding or using any Akashganga experience, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, together with our Cancellation, Payment & Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not purchase a ticket or attend the event.
2. The Event
Akashganga · Dev Deepawali is scheduled for Tuesday, 24 November 2026 (Kartik Shukla Purnima) at Ramnagar Fort, Varanasi. The programme, timings, itinerary, performers, menu, inclusions and venue arrangements are indicative and may be changed, substituted or rescheduled at our discretion without prior notice.
3. Bookings & Tickets
- All reservations and confirmations must be made exclusively through the official Akashganga booking channels. Bookings made through unauthorised channels will not be recognised.
- A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the applicable payment; full confirmation requires payment in full as per the payment schedule.
- A full ticket applies to every child aged 6 years and above; children below 6 are admitted free of charge.
- Tickets are transferable for exclusive partners only, unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.
- Partners must not advertise, market or sell tickets or packages above the published rate prescribed by Akashganga.
- Partners are responsible for communicating all terms, inclusions, exclusions and policies to their clients before confirming a booking.
4. Pricing & Payment
All quoted rates are net rates and inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise specified. Payment is due in phases as set out in our Cancellation, Payment & Refund Policy. Bookings received on or after 1 October 2026 require 100% payment and attract 100% cancellation charges.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed entirely by our Cancellation, Payment & Refund Policy. Ticket amounts are non-refundable from 1 October 2026 onwards, except as expressly stated in that policy.
6. Force Majeure
Akashganga shall not be liable for any failure, delay, cancellation, postponement or curtailment of the event caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including, without limitation, government or authority orders and restrictions, withdrawal of venue permissions, acts of God, natural disaster, extreme weather, changes in the condition of the river Ganges, fire, epidemic or pandemic, public-health measures, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, or utility and third-party failures. In such events we are under no obligation to provide a monetary refund, and may instead reschedule, substitute or issue a credit at our sole discretion.
7. No Refund for Dissatisfaction
Once purchased, tickets are final. No refund, in whole or in part, will be made on the grounds of subjective dissatisfaction, change of mind, a claimed “bad experience”, partial use, late arrival or non-attendance. Individual elements of the programme may vary and do not constitute grounds for a refund.
8. Admission, Conduct & Safety
- We reserve the right to refuse admission, or to remove any guest, whose conduct is unlawful, disorderly, unsafe or disruptive, without refund.
- Guests must comply with all safety instructions, security checks and the directions of our staff, venue authorities and boat crew at all times.
- The experience involves travel on the river Ganges by boat. Guests participate voluntarily and are responsible for assessing their own fitness to do so. Children, elderly guests and non-swimmers must be accompanied and supervised at all times.
- Prohibited, hazardous or illegal items are not permitted. Outside food, beverages and fireworks are not allowed unless provided by Akashganga.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Akashganga, its partners, staff and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of or damage to personal belongings, arising from attendance at the event. Guests attend and participate at their own risk. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
